The O’ga P’ogeh Land Tax
Rabbit Brush pays a The O’ga P’ogeh Land Tax every month.
It is a grassroots elective land tax project in O’ga P’ogeh (Santa Fe), NM that returns wealth to Indigenous communities in their homelands.
Also known as a voluntary land tax, honor tax, or ‘real rent,’ paying this land tax recognizes your access to stolen land and stolen wealth in a tangible and vital way.
With the oversight of an Indigenous Council of Matriarchs, this tax will support initiatives and organizations in service to the local Indigenous community and Rematriation of the land.
